In a town as dull and boring as a smoky grey sky,
Overhead,
the charcoal black birds fly
Taking
the life of the once pine green forest
Leaving
them auburn, with no remorse
Soon
to cover them with the cotton white snow
We
sit wondering where did the sky blue weather go?
Now
in the dull colorless winter
Wishing
things weren’t so bitter
